A rare Italian language Atlas of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies -- the union of the Kingdoms of Naples and Sicily (1808-1861). It is shown to extend from North of Naples to the tip of the Italian peninsula and into all of Sicily. The 21 double folio maps detail the extend of the Kingdom and its individual provinces. Rich detail is given in the left and right margins of the maps as to population and dioceses within each of the provinces as well as customs, historical summary and products / industries of each province.

Very good overall. The maps are crisply colored. Some foxing, spotting and finger soiling on several maps, mostly around the perimetry. 2 maps are lacking one of their pages. Very few splits, longest ca. 8 cm. Two small contemporary tape repair on verso. Binding and covers are in very good condition.
