A very nice, large map of California south of Santa Cruz and parts of Southern Nevada.  Most of this area was still un-developed.  There is no Las Vegas yet.  The large Tulare Lake and smaller Owens Lake north of Bakersfield have disappeared since with their waters diverted to irrigation in the Valley.
