This is an outstanding large pictorial bird's eye view map of Midtown Manhattan in isometric perspective.  This map was created by Herman Bollmann, who has developed elaborate and painstaking highly detailed techniques to create quite accurate pictorial maps.  Special cameras designed by Bollmann were used to take over 67K of surface and aerial photos as the basis for this map.  High level of detail is provided.  Presented as a folding map in a booklet about New York and the map technique in German and English plus about the city in Spanish, Italian, French and Japanese.
