This is a fantastic folding map of Tokyo from the latter part of the Edo period (1603-1868). This is a highly detailed map, with index on left, form the golden age of Japanese woodblock cartography. The map is oriented Northwest and shows about 16 miles of the city in the width of the map. Interstingly, there is a foldout extension in lower right portion of the map. On rice paper.
