A very interesting detailed polar projection pictorial world map showing the world engaged in World War II.  This two sided map, produced by Alcoa Aluminum Company, also details around the border the war plane insignias of key countries in both sides of the war.  Additionally shown are airline distances and how global map projections are created.  On verso, a wealth of information is given as to Aircraft squadron insignias, airplane types on both sides, US Military personnel insignias by branch, airplane stunting maneuvers how aluminum is made starting with bauxite and how aluminum is used in aircrafts -- which is the reason why Alcoa presented this propaganda map.
