This is a magnificent World Air Route map with the map centered on Japan.  It shows the well noted flights of the times: Charles Lindbergh's solo Trans-Atlantic flight, Zeppelin's round the world flight, the first aerial circumnavigation of the globe by the US Army, and Airship Italia's flight to the North Pole.  There are 52 vignettes are shown around the map -- city scenes (Washington's Lincoln Memorial, Parliament buildings in London and Budapest, etc), Famous Sites (Taj Mahal, Pyramids at Memphis, etc), People (Native American, Muslim woman, etc), Animals (zebra, polar bear, etc).  This was used as a game board, sugoroku, somewhat similar to the Western 'snakes and ladders'.
