This is a large, highly detailed Civil War era map of the US, color coding the states.  In this map, thd Dakotas are shown as one, Southern Nevada of today is still part of Arizona and Indian Territories haven't formed the state of Oklahoma yet, but West Virginia had.  Lots of topographical, settlement and railroad line details are shown.
