This is an ornate and highly decorative map illustrates Jersey & Guernsey with an English Channel inset.  The map  features five vignettes and fancy borders of the Tallis style. The steel engraved map depicts Castle Cornet, St. Peter’s Port, a Druid Altar, Mont Orgueil Castle, and the mandatory cows.  This region is the only part of the UK that was German occupied in WW II.
