This is an ornate and highly decorative map of Thibet, Mongolia, and Mandchouria – modern day China including Tibet and Mongolia.  The map  features six vignettes and fancy borders of the Tallis style.  The steel engraved map illustrates the Palace of Dalai Lama at Lhasa, the Great Wall, other monuments and a Mongol noble on camel. Engraved by J. Rapkin.  Color outline.
