An interesting double map. The upper map is a very nice rendering of Gibraltar and southern Spain. The lower map represents the British attack of the French controlled Caribbean island of Guadaloupe. The motivation was gaining control of the island's sugar cane. The British eventually returned it to France in favor of controlling Canada. Later hand color.
