This is a lovely, uncommon large map of British island pocessions in the Caribbean region. The map is composed of eight maps on a single sheet. The major map is of Jamaica with its parishes and very fine detail and notations and an inset map of the infamous Port Royal harbor. The map of Jamaica is dedicated to the Earl of Stamford. Above this are maps of Barbados with an inset of Bridgetown, the entire Caribbean/West Indies, Antigua, St. Kitts, Tobago and Bermuda. This is an updated version of C. Browne's 1690 map with Senex's imprint in title.
