This is a superb, large beautiful foilio of 60 colored maps, of which 55 double page maps and 5 additionally fold out. Some of the maps date from 1799. Cary has a nice balance showing maps from the old world as well as from the new worlds. North America's interior, much of the Arctic area and Antartica are yet to be explored.

Overall Very Good. Majority of the maps are excellent condition, several have minor margin tears. England has large fold tear, but it doesn’t significantly distract from map. Finger soiling at margins and slightly age toned. Cover and back are detached.
