This is a fantastic and quite large pictorial world map showing the French colonies, mostly in Africa and Indo-China, and their commerce and trade, plus sea routes.  The total population of the colonies was 60 million and the commercial value generated was 60 billion French Francs.  There are 14 photo vignettes, including a dam in Senegal, traffic in Dakar, Tunisian Roman ruins, Martinique view, ports of Casablanca, Dakar and Algiers plus several ships.  This is an advertisement by the French public utilities association.
